The Wagging Tail wants to
build a lasting relationship with you and your pets.
This introductory meeting allows us the opportunity to meet you and
your pet(s) and find
out a little more about
your needs. This is a no
pressure visit to determine if we are
the perfect fit for you
(and your pet).
Complimentary
Mid-Day Walk (M-F, 10am-4pm) – 30 minute
visit
Can’t get home during the
middle of the day? This 30
minute visit includes walk, fresh water, treat, play time as time permits
and a note to the owner describing that day’s
visit.
This visit is ideal for puppy potty breaks to help with house
breaking, potty relief
for senior dogs and
mid-day breaks/socializing for those that are home for longer
periods of time while Mom
and Dad are at work.
$16 for 1st dog
$3 for each additional dog
Potty Break Visits (any day, any time) – 15
minute visit
This visit is ideal for
puppy potty breaks to help with house breaking, potty relief and
companionship for senior dogs or pups needing a quick visit during the day.
This
service does not include a
neighborhood walk.

Pet Sitting (all animals); Occasional Walks;
Walks Outside Mid-Day Walking Hours (see above hours)
This service allows your
pets to stay in the comfort of your home while a sitter will
come in throughout the day
(as you need visits) for potty breaks, litter box cleaning, exercise, water
replenishing, breakfast/dinner as well as companionship.
Service includes newspaper/mail collection, indoor plant watering,
trash to the curb and we’ll
alter your home lights to
provide a ‘lived-in’ look.
$18/30 minutes, $3 for each additional pet
$31/60 minutes, $3 for each additional pet
**Please call for multiple
pets as there are some variances to this pricing, i.e., one
cage of birds equals one
pet, etc.
Bed and Biscuit Boarding
(Dogs only)
24 hour boarding service
offered by one of our Wagging Tail staff members who opens
her home (and heart) to
provide custom, private care in a comfortable home setting.
Pet Taxi service is
available for pick-up and drop-off.

In Home Overnight Care
Care in the comfort of
your own home. A Wagging Tail
staff member will provide companionship and care for 12-hours. Includes
evening walk and dinner, overnight
stay and morning walk and
breakfast. Litter box clean out is included for cats.
Overnight Care:
$75 per 12 hours
Last Minute Reservations
Reservations for all services scheduled with less than 48 hours advance
notice will
be
charged a $10 surcharge. This
fee compensates our pet sitters who must adjust
their
schedules to accommodate last-minute reservations.
Cancellations
Mid-day clients may cancel
without penalty as long as they contact The Wagging Tail before the walker
has left for your house.
Cancellation policy for
pet sitting and boarding is 48 hours in advance. Less than 48 hours notice
of cancellation and Owner is responsible for 25% of total reservation
charge.
Pet Taxi
Not enough time in the
day? No kidding! Let us help.
This service includes pet pick up/drop off for boarding services,
visits to vet, groomer, dog park, pet dates at a
friends home, etc.
$30 per hour
Pet Supply Delivery
Shopping made simple. Just
leave us a list of items needed and we’ll visit the local pet store and
stock you up.
*$30 plus food/treat/medication supply costs
*Not to exceed one hour.
Medication administration:
$3
per pet, per visit (drop in bowl meds are free)
Key Pick Up/Drop Off Fee
The Wagging Tail requires
two (2) home keys to be obtained at the introductory
meeting.
Additional trips to the client’s home to obtain house keys will
result in
a $10 fee per visit.
One key will be used primarily by the assigned pet sitter while
the second will remain as
back up in case emergency access is needed to the
client’s home.
The back up key will be stored in a lock box at our office.
All keys
should be tested prior to
distribution to the pet sitter.

Key
Retrieval Service
If a client is locked out of his home and contacts The Wagging Tail to
retrieve their
key, we will charge a $25
fee during normal business hours. After business hours,
The Wagging Tail will
charge a $45 fee. Please note this service is based on
availability of
the walker only; it is not guaranteed.
Inclement Weather
Policy
For the safety of our walkers and sitters, The Wagging Tail will follow the
Federal Government closing policy during inclement weather. If the schools
and government
are closed, we feel that driving conditions
are too dangerous for our animal care givers
to brave the roads. We request that our
clients contact us to check availability by 9:00am.
If possible, please make
appropriate arrangements in advance to enlist the help of a neighbor during
severe weather. Clients requesting service on severe/inclement snow days
will be charged an additional $10 per visit. The surcharge will go directly
to the sitter who is
going out in dangerous conditions.
Holiday Rates:
A $25 surcharge is applied for any services performed within the following
holiday date ranges:
